Is Ywait a Foodhub alternative?
For order-ahead, yes. Customers order from your own link, QR code or the Ywait app and collect when you text them, on a phone or tablet you already own. Foodhub also lists you in its marketplace and supplies its own EPOS and printer on rental.
Does Foodhub charge commission?
Foodhub says there is no commission on orders through your own website and app. Its terms let it keep a service fee charged to your customers on those orders, and raise your menu prices on its marketplace listings. Neither amount is published.
Do I need Foodhub’s hardware with Ywait?
No. Orders arrive in the Ywait Admin app on an iPhone, iPad or Android device you already own. Connect a printer if you want dockets, or connect Square and orders flow into your Square POS.
